Following in the creative mastery that is the Jordan ‘Tinker’ series, Jordan Brand adds another signature strapped silhouette to the collection Air Jordan Cyber Monday 2021 with the Air Jordan 8 ‘Tinker’. Digging deep into the archives of Tinker’s unmistakable designs, this colour-way borrows some creative artistry from the iconic Nike Air Raid. With the two fastened footwear designs bearing a striking resemblance, it only made sense for these two to come together for the perfect throwback theme.
Inspired by the ‘Urban Jungle’ colour-way used on the Nike Air Raid 1 and 2, this popular hoop shoe was tied to 90’s basketball legend Tim Hardaway; Check out who owned one of the most iconic killer crossovers in NBA lore. Boasting a smooth black nubuck throughout the upper, these are artfully blended with woven materials, serving as a reserved and refined base. With early 90’s influence evident throughout the sneaker, pops of light concord, green and university red are spotted at the chenille tongue graphic, lining and heel.
The Air Jordan 8 has seen several exclusive colorways of the years, with two of them being the “Kentucky Madness” and “Kobe PE” offerings.As part of the Air Jordan 8 OVO Collection, Jordan Brand designed a special Air Jordan 8 Kentucky Madness edition Air Jordan 8 Kentucky Madness back in 2017. It sports a Black-based upper paired with Fire Red and Sport Royal contrasting accents. Drake’s OVO Owl logo appears in Gold on the back heel tabs, as well as Gold detailing on the strap buckles and Jumpman logos. As a nod to the school, Kentucky’s logo appears on the straps for added detailing.
The Air Jordan 8 “Kobe Bryant PE” was another extremely limited version of the classic shoe that was modeled after the original player exclusive colorway Air Jordan Black Friday Deals worn by Kobe. Jordan Brand celebrated Bryant’s final season with a special two-shoe pack of his Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 PEs, both in LA Lakers team colors that he worn during his season as a sneaker free agency durign the 2002-03 NBA season.
